Course Design
To create an engaging learning experience, I reviewed the daily living skills syllabus to establish the scope of work and define the course learning objectives, and the course outline.
The eLearning programme consists of the following courses:
- Introduction to Home Cleaning
- Keeping Personal and Shared Space Tidy
- How to Clean the Home
- Recycling and Trash Disposal
This eLearning programme is thoughtfully structured, taking learners on a learning experience through the fundamentals of cleanliness and organisation of living spaces. Each course focuses on a specific aspect of maintaining living spaces, such as decluttering, cleaning techniques, and establishing sustainable routines.
Course Development
The courses in the eLearning programme are built and published on Canvas LMS, using reusable Learning Interfaces to achieve layout consistency of the learning content in the course.
To accommodate the learning needs of individuals on the autism spectrum, I incorporate clear and concise instructions, diagrams, and step-by-step visual guides into the course to facilitate understanding and engagement.
